We read with interest that a Commonwealth Court ruled that the Neshaminy School District somehow doesn’t have to retire its use of racist Native American imagery and the team name “Redskins,” contrary to good taste, basic decency and even a lower court order from last year. That is all very unfortunate. But in this moment, might we also consider the grotesqueness that is calling one’s team… the Lady Skins?
