Hundreds of Bucks Countians gathered in Doylestown Monday to protest President Donald Trump and Elon Musk’s actions since taking power on January 20th. Through a blitzkrieg of executive orders and policies, the Trump administration has been carrying out the Project 2025 agenda, challenging judicial independence and the legitimacy of the courts, and allowing billionaire tech oligarch Elon Musk to run roughshod over federal agencies — even granting him access to personal taxpayer data and classified intelligence. In fact, legal scholars say we now find ourselves in a “constitutional crisis.”
Rather than sulk in despair, pro-democracy protesters braved the cold and hit the streets as the resistance to Trump 2.0 takes shape. Local photographer Mike Maney shared his photo reportage of the day’s event with us.
