Terry Winckler is an award-winning journalist who led two newspapers as executive editor, worked as a volunteer in a Mayan village, covered Guatemala’s civil war as a reporter, and hitchhiked to the U.S. through Mexico along the migrant trail. He lives in the San Francisco Bay Area. He recently published a book about his Guatemala experiences: “A Voice Came Down The Mountain.”
